Someone posted a link to the following story and I clicked on it and I was hooked. Incredible story, incredible au. The writing is excellent and if you like this kind of story, this is a must read. I'll post the author's notes/warnings for y'all. als_wonderland, this is one that you will LOVE. I am NOT kidding.

I'll say again, I LOVED this story. It's long- multiple parts, a link to the next part is included at the end of each section. It is a completed fic but things are open for more in this universe. I really, really hope there is more. It's fantastic. Not for every one- dark, dark, dark- but if that's your thing, this is dead on the money.

Despite a few factual inaccuracies, this is a great article on the new X-Files film.

This is a great article as well, with some good points regarding the critical slamming the film is taking.

I have now seen that film twice and loved it both times. That is not to say that the movie doesn't have it's flaws. I am not blind to them.

I just don't give a fuck.

23. The fic that is coming out of this movie is awesome. I've been out of X-Files fandom for a while and haven't read but the odd fic here and there for years. There's an pretty active (as far as I can tell) LJ community that I never even thought to look for in the past, as I was busy with newer and (at the time) shinier fandoms. Doggett and Reyes almost broke me and so I'm giving myself a little bit of slack but man, alive. Good stuff.
