Greatest Video in the History of the WORLD.

Watched this originally because of a link on [info]july_july_july's LJ. I am in love with this video. I went to the creator's site to check it out and he has a very interesting post about the creation and intention of this vid. No spoilers for the the vid but here's the link to his site so you can dig into his work.




As always, I would LOVE to discuss this with all of you out there. There is so much here to dig into- please share and we can dish!

I'm so glad! I think the edit work on this is excellent and the story actually does work here.

I love Buffy's "What are you, 12?" comment- that's what I thought when he said that, too! *snerk*

This is also a great example of how editing can change things. Or at least shift the meaning. Did you ever see any of the movie trailers that were re-cut, for example The Shining as a romantic comedy or Mary Poppins as a horror movie?

I LOVE this video too. It's so well done. I love the way that the dialogue links up so well.

Oh, man, that's MY favorite part as well!

It was just so... perfect.

The editing is fantastic. I made the hubby watch it and he commented on the color difference b/w Buffy and Twilight but beyond that, he thought it was really well constructed overall.

The guy who put it together really found the most perfect Buffy clips to match up what he had in Twilight and it just WORKS.
